Our warehouse is a busy place! We supply over 80,000 people in the Hill Country with food, drinks, and clothing. We need help in our warehouse sorting food, bagging food, sorting clothing, and getting distribution boxes ready for pick up. Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing as our warehouse is not temperatureure controlled. We also ask that you bring a hat and sunscreen in case you are working outside. Snacks and a break room are provided.


Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty in the Hill Country. It could not happen without volunteers like you!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at HCDBM. We welcome volunteers of all ages.  However, a parent must accompany children 12 and under. For our younger volunteers, we have shorter shifts available. Our warehouse needs help sorting food, bagging food, sorting clothing, and many other activities. It's a produce party! Help sort and categorize produce. 

What the Produce Team does: Multiple times a week, we receive produce donations from local stores. Produce volunteers sort through the produce checking for quality and freshness. Produce is sorted and packed into equal bags for each client. This team arrives around 9 to begin work and finishes when all produce is sorted through.

Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries is looking for individuals to help with our Summer Leadership Academy.  We are looking for a Classroom Assistant.  Key responsibilites assist teachers with daily lessons and activities.  Help manage studend provide one on one or small group support to students as needed.  Help prepare and organize classroom materials.  Must be 16 years of age or older.

We are blessed to have a beautiful building to provide service to the communityinity. We need help maintaining it with new HVAC filters. We are looking for a volunteer who can come in quarterly and change all filters.   We are looking for someone who can climb ladder and change filters throughout the ministry.  As always, we want to be good steward of our property and want to make sure we do our best to keep routine maintenance up to par.  Proper training and safely briefing will be done by HCDBM staff before volunteer can start work.

Fleet Maintenance involves checking oil, checking tire pressure, fueling up, and general upkeep of the vehicles, This job can be done individually or with a small group. We are flexible with the day and time, please let us know in the comments when you would like to come in and we will be in touch. Work will be done outside so we recommend a hat and sunscreen. Closed-toe shoes are required in our warehouse. Snacks and water are provided.
