HCDBM receives food free of charge from our Boerne Walmart. All we have to do is pick it up. We need volunteers to make that happen! Pick up occurs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. We try to have a rotating schedule for volunteers so you are only picking up every so often. All training is provided by HCDBM staff.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Background check
- Driving record check
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Animal-free vehicle to carry product
- Closed toed shoes
- Use of pallet jack (training provided)
- Weigh in product (training provided)
- Process product in warehouse (training provided)
